"Guns N' Roses To Play Two Dates In Ireland!"

Guns N' Roses have announced dates in Dublin and Belfast in support of their current album 'Chinese Democracy'.

The current touring line up consists of Axl Rose, Frank Ferrer, Tommy Stinson, Richard Fortus, Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, Dizzy Reed, Chris Pitman and welcomed guitarist Dj Ashba. This is the first Guns N' Roses tour since 2007.

Guns N' Roses play the Odyssey Arena in Belfast on August 31st (£49-£55) and The O2 in Dublin on September 1st (€65.70-€70.70). Tickets go on sale next Friday June 11th at 9am, with O2 presale beginning on Wednesday June 9th at 9am.

The band have just confirmed two dates for Ireland this autumn

Axl & Co will be bringing their unapologetically old school and iconic brand of rock n' roll to Belfast's Odyssey arena on August 31, and to Dublin's O2 on September 1.

It will see the band bringing their tour for the Chinese Democracy album to these shores.

Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday next, June 11.

ROCKERS Guns N' Roses are set to make a triumphant return to Dublin, the Herald can reveal.

The American band will be hitting Dublin's O2 on September 1, with tickets expected to be snapped up quickly when they go on sale on Friday, July 11.

The worldwide tour promotes the band's current album, Chinese Democracy, which hit the top spot in charts around the globe. Guns N' Roses, with front man Axl Rose, last played Dublin four years ago in the RDS. During this tour, they performed 60 concerts in 26 countries, playing for more than a million fans, including some 30,000 in Dublin.

Since they formed in 1985, GNR have sold more than 100 million albums worldwide, including 46 million in the US.

Their hits include Paradise City and Sweet Child O' Mine.

To be quite honest, I couldn't see or get into all the hype when every other foreign performance was officially announced, but now that dates have been slotted for both Belfast and Dublin, I'm absolutely delighted and overwhelmed! I certainly hope that you and every other fan of Guns N' Roses gets to experience this wonderful feeling of thrill, it's orgasmic to say the least!

i thought id broke the news on this lol but for some reason im reply number three in your thread aw well lol. this is great and bad news for me iv spent 200 on getting the tix to leeds but if gnr are playing in my back yard id rather see them here plus i could go to the dublin show too, but will i be able to get aa refund on my weekend pass at leeds????, if not ill have to go to that, which would be great except i only got the tix cus i figured it be my only chance to see gnr and it will cost me around 500 overall to do that in england when i could use the money here! then have loads left over to seem them in dublin the next night! anyone any ideas lol?

Im going Reading & for people hoping for a London date, it says this on the Reading Fest website:

When Axl Rose strides on stage to headline Reading Festival this August he is introducing one of the most outstanding, successful and controversial rock bands we have seen in the last 25 years.  An acclaimed and thrilling live act, GUNS N’ ROSES’ countless hits have become soundtracks for music fans all over the world.

The band played a spectacular show at Leeds Festival in 2002 and this is incredibly their first ever appearance at Reading.  Their latest album ‘Chinese Democracy’ was number one in 13 countries and has received countless awards all over the world.  This is their only UK appearance this year.
