"The Night Angel trilogy" - Brent Weeks

Stunning. Brutal fantasy that is strictly for adults.

8/10

Just finished reading the two Nick Cave books.

And The Ass Saw The Angel was a difficult read. I had trouble getting through it. Otherwise I liked it.

The Death of Bunny Munro I loved. I could read it again some other time.

The Lost Symbol. An amazing book.

I love research/fact books.

It wasn't a bad book, but to me it was the same thing once again. Landon uses his knowledge of symboles again to act against a crime together with some handsome women-specialist, trying to beat the clock. I have the feeling I've read all the Dan Brown books now (although I read just the 3 of them), including the ones that are still to be published.
But I agree: as usual there were some interesting facts to learn.

If an album comes out, then buy it. If there's a concert you can go to, then go to it. You're not owed another record. You're not owed any inside stories. You're not owed the band to be managed by people you approve. It's just electronically recorded vibrations that you happen to like.

Almost finished reading Jeff Lindsey´s Darkly Dreaming Dexter.

For now I like it as much the show. Probably gonna continue to read the series.

The Wind Through The Keyhole(Dark Tower '4.5') - Stephen King. 6.8/10

The Litigators - John Grisham. 5/10

The Machine Gunners - Robert Westall. A childhood favourite of mine. Fuckin love it. 9/10.

American Scream - The Bill Hicks Story - Cynthia True. Hard to judge really. I'll just call it interesting and abstain from giving it a rating.

Some wank rag - 10/10  You can't really beat a book that has pics of lesbo's and axe-wounds and stuff.  :paranoid:

Just finished A Storm of Swords I: Steel and Snow last night. Really didn't disappoint so far. I feel that a good amount of the characters are really coming into their own fully now. Davos for example is one I've gotten very interested in. All in all I would say that this series just keeps getting better and better.

I will be starting A Storm of Swords II: Blood and Gold right after I finish the "Civil War" Marvel Graphic Novel I have, but I really can't wait to begin

Don't then ;)

Seriously, I was loaning the books to a friend and I gave her Parts One and Two together. They're one book that were only divided up because there''s too many pages for one paperback. They're meant to be read together.

I wouldn't steer you wrong :ninja:

Finished A Storm of Swords this week. Absolutely amazing, especially part 2. By far the best of the series and one of the best books i've ever read.

Started A Feast for Crows also, read the prologue and the first chapter. Not bad start although there seems to be a lot of new characters in this book.

Oasis: The Truth - Tony McCarrol.

Not the best format, but an interesting read. 5/10
