Just finished reading 'Endless Night' by Richard Lamon. A resounding 'meh'. Last time I take book advice from my mother. Wasn't awful, had some interesting parts and some decent scares, but for the most part fairly predictable and felt a bit generic by the end. 

Next up: finish reading Tony Blair's autobiography, then move on to Stephen King's "Salem's Lot".

Currently re-re-re-re-reading Anthony Kiedis' autobiog, 'Scar Tissue.' Amazing read.

I'm dying to spoil the end of The Dark Tower, by discussing it with people who have finished the story.(a spoiler facility would be useful) but I wouldn't do that.

What I will say is; don't be shocked if the ending leaves you boiling with rage.

King basically argues; 'that's the story fuckin' deal with it.'

I'm not a great fan of the ending, but I can live with it; it explains a lot of Roland's obsessive nature.

Just (ahem) acquired Steven Tyler's (auto?)biography, and Kurt Cobain's private journals.

I'll be sure to fill you in. Although, Im not sure reading close to 300 pages of Kurt's scribbled/handwritten ramblings is gonna be the greatest literary experince I've ever had.

Excellent read, very well written. Expect a good portion of Metallica griping though. One of the chapters is even called  I Pray the Lord My Soul to Keep.
