just as entertaining as any old school Disney movie, only that it's slightly darker. Probably too dark for kids, but still bearable for adults

There are 12 short stories, some are great, some are dull.However, the narrative style is great

I'm reading Great Expectations by Dickens. I have to read it for Uni, but i'm enjoying the book nonetheless.

Alchemist by Paolo Coelho

Not my favorite book by him, but it was pretty good.

I dont read Coelho works cause his greatest best seller (Alchemist) is a lame plagiarism on a 1-page-long short story written by Jorge Luis Borges, called "Story of the 2 men who dreamt..."

it's about a guy from Cairo who has nothing left than the poor house that he had inherited from his late father where there was a garden with a fig tree. One day he dreamt that if he travelled to Persia, to Isfaján, he would find a large fortune. He decided to go to Persia and when he arrives there he is sent to jail and has to endure all sort of tortures. Then the guard who whipped him asked him why he was there among criminals and he tells him about his dream. The guard laughs laud and tells him that he's dreamt 3 times about a house in Cairo where there was a fig tree in the garden. Underneath the fig tree there was a large chest full of gold and diamons. The guard even felt pity for his stupidity and gave him money to return to his country. When he arrived to his house, he digged up the chest and became richer than a king.

it is definitely not a book for children. Each paragraph is a beautiful parable, where each character stands for the things that are important in your life.

The ending depicts what we're capable of doing for the one we love.  :'(

Strangley enough... I just read this last week after someone recomended it to me,I thought it was very interesting and it makes you think with all the double meanings,especially when it talks about the roses.

It’s a beautiful book – it’s full of meaningful wisdoms. Do you have a favorite quote? I know it's hard to pick one - there are so many.  :)

E.g. I like …
