Nah, haven't.

Just read The Death of WCW though - for a wrestling fan (or former fan like me) it's absolutely hilarious. And it will also explain to anyone who reads it why I hate Hulk Hogan so much

Great book dude

The movie's not too bad either. as always the movie leaves out crucial pieces of info, but, it's six hours long  :O so it does a better job of adaptation than most other book-turned-movie.
I hope, I do not wait.

just reading "Goodbye, Johnny Thunders" thought it was about a musician, turns out a girls life in London and a bad boy she's falls for etc, quite a good read actually, still getting through it. reminds me of my life at the moment!

"Body Double" by Tess Gerritsen is very good too.

I am reading "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" by Stieg Larsson. Right now I am on page 200 and I hope the story becomes more thrilling/exciting with time.

You're welcome. :)
I also read "Harvest" by Tess Gerritsen but I liked "Body Double" more. My first book by Tess Gerritsen was also "The Surgeon".
Good to know there's hope for the book I am currently reading ... I decided to read the book first as IMO the own imagination is almost always better than the movie but I am going to watch the movie too.

MAZE RUNNER by James Dashner        (run or die in Spanish)

He doesnt recall a single thing but his name. The amnesia begins just with the story and the main character finds himself trapped in an elevator which goes who knows where and he has no idea about what he's doing in that elevator but feeling a weird paranoid instinct that tells him that in order to survive, he has to run and hide. the elevator finally gets to its final destination, and he finds himself in a gloomy, neverending backyard which walls are covered by huge twisted trees. Some strangers welcome him and tell him that now he's in "the area".

so far I only read 4 chapters. the overall atmosphere is really gloomy and it pretends to be a thriller, a suspence novel. sometimes it catches your attention, sometimesb it doesn't. As for the literary style (descriptions, word chice, etc) it's very simple, almost poor. BUt! I'm reading it in Spanish, maybe the one to blame is an unskillful translator... I'll still give it a chance, cause I never leave a book unread. (except for catcher in the rye, that one sucked  :giggle:)

pages: 398
released on: fall 2009

* Twentieth Century Fox bought the rights of this book to make a movie
