me and my mate nick have been promoting our band "The Luchadors" all over the glasgow uni area and we've built up quite a bit of interest just through our creatively designed posters and constant stickering of the west end.

None of us play anything, but we're just gonna get a word of mouth campaign going by making up quotes about us from NME etc. We've also got plans to promote fake gigs and then issue cancellations notices the day before cos the promotor was scared of rioting occuring. Then we're gonna promote our constantly "soon to be released" EP, but unfortunately it'll always get put back a few months cos we've been dropped by our label for spending too much money on drink, drugs and hookers.

but there are just fuckin cunts in my neighbourhood how just don't want to play there instrument (...........) or don't have an instrument to play.

I have a kickass thrash metal band going at the moment....called HEARSE. We all drink beer, wear vests, have beards and solo constantly.

We blew the PA system at our first gig supporting some gay emo band. My mate just came on and put his foot straight through the monitor. :shocked:

We were so loud it was hilarious.

i was in GU tonight (glasgow union for the non-glasweigans) and in the hive, stuck to the surface of the bar was a sticky bit of paper with "the luchadores" and a pentagram written on it in red ink.

did that have anything to do with you, or is there another band called the luchadores at your uni?

well, me and my mate tried to walk out of the gu with about 20 empty glasses each in our inside pockets tonight we were that drunk, nearly got away with it until the cock at the front door noticed us on the way out, he even stole the malibu and coke i was still drinking
