What do you think of of the whole it aint GNR crap

Okay, so i was on blabbermouth and other various forums that were discussing wether CD is the GNR's "white album", on viewing these forums everyone says things like you cant call axl roses band gnr because that would be like Paul Macartney pretending to be the beetles. What are your views on this. Personally my argument would be that many bands change members, i.e Metallica, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, plus many more. Im sick to F*** of all this it aint GNR crap. I really want to know peoples honest opinions on this

IMO, The GUNS we have now are GUNS N ROSES... people just can't get over the fact that AFD line-up doesnt exist anymore... AFD line-up aint even original for those slash lovers out there  :finger:... i respected slash alot once.. but lost all my respect to the man... hes a sellout... anyways.. forget about those people who says this is the '' AXL ROSE PROJECT... AXL ROSE WITH FRIENDS ETC..'' THIS IS GUNS N FUCKING ROSES... Deal With it  :rockon:

Well. Gn'R is GnR. Its only slash people care about. gnr were on top of the world on the UYI tour and two members of the AFD line up had quit. If slash was still in gnr but the other origonals quit, the band would have double the respect and popularity than the new band do now. The new band are as musiclly talented and intersting as the origonals. Guns N' Roses Rock. Whatever Era.

Sometimes I'm sure that this is Guns N' Roses, sometimes I'm not.
So honestly I don't know... :?:


But I'm sure in one...if I can choose to see CD world tour live or AFD line-up live, I will choose CD...because I really love latest album...  :rockon:

I agree that GNR rock , CD is a masterpiece in my eyes, i know guys who werent even GNR fans until they heard CD. I think its well ahead of its time musically. Slash was a legend but with him doing paradise city on youtube with fergie and cyprus hill makes me cringe. He is an amazing guitarist and i love all GNR music but for me the guy needs to let go. He isnt in GNR now and i dont think now it would be right for him to be in it. We have all moved on and are enetring a new exciting GNR era. Metallica are a huge band and they dont have some original members. Thos who say GNR arent GNR to me arent real GNR fans. Sure i wasnt old enough to see the UYI tours but i have seen them on DVD and saw GNrR in 2006 in Glasgow and have never looked back.

For me they are GNR. Though I would like to see the band put their own stamp on the next album they release. Get more involved.

I think it would be different if somehow Axl had personally terminated everyone in the old lineup, but the fact was it ended naturally (painfully, but naturally) and we have something that is, in all senses, a continuation of the old lineup.
