In a world that's so jaded
and so complicated
is a girl so amazing and so captivating

she speaks from her soul with her heart on her sleeve
she gives hope to those whom forgot how to dream
her eyes ocean blue and her mind is so deep
casts a spell over every one whom she meets

In a life filled with madness that creates so much madness
is a woman resilient with beauty and brilliance
she lights up a room with her elegant smile
that warms me with comfort like a blanketed child

I would do anything to hear your voice again son
to hear you say you love me I love you more than anyone
baby you can trust me your what makes my heart beat
your the air that keeps me breathing never stop believing

I would give anything to have you back in my life
anything you'd ask for , nothing I won't sacrifice
I'd trade every memory ,just to have me near me
time is slowly severing eroding almost everything

these days turn to years turn to tears on my cheek
what is left of my heart is engraved on my sleeve
pieced together and glued by faith, hopes and dreams
that we will see each other once again this I do believe

all i need is one more jolt to give this beat down man a push
I'll ride the wave, hide in caves, if I could I would
I walk the streets so normally I'll stare a crazy gaze
my thoughts are not all innocent as I stumble through this haze

It drains from me my modivation
feeds apon my inspiration
scared to hear my reputation
impulsing all my despirations

honestly it's hard to be
when all I loved is barred from me,
it scars you see
like a tattoo seen constantly
the hurt won't flee
for years on end it sticks to you like its your best fucking friend

these times are hard... I gotta try
think I am down to my last goodbye
this has to change it isn't yesterday
I'm chasing a ghost I will never slay
its gone away
theres nothing left today
theres nothing I can do to change it anyway
gotta find a way to kill away the pain

so please...

don't forget me
don't regret me
I'll never let it be
your inside of me
that will always be
hope someday you'll see

so please ... don't forget me

So Many tears,So Many lies,So many people lost in this life,So Little patience,So little time,So many souls, Missing the light,There's so much in this world to see,The stars,The moon and 7 seas, but still you ak "Why me??", Just open your eyes there's a light that shines, Just open your eyes and see.

So many people Cry all night, There's so much pain in their mind, It would be nice if we could end all this misery, Climb the mountain and swim the sea,So many places for you and me,but still a man must lose his family, and still your asking "WHY ME??" Just open your eyes there's a light that shines of you and me, Just Open your eyes and see
Just Open your eyes, There's a light that shines on you and me, just open your eyes just open your eyes, just open your eyes and see,

Poem I Wrote a few days ago, What's your opinion? its about how i notice that the human race cries and fights over things as territory when we've been blessed with this beautiful world and we'd rather corrupt in our greed idk just a thought

I would change the and to the, before seven seas.  Flows much better, in my opinion.  I am also interrupted a few times by the incidental rhyming throughout.  Nonetheless, I like it =).  Quite a bit in fact, there's a message worth sharing contained within those lines.

20 questions

What do you say when your loves stripped away ?
As you choke on the tears left behind
-and where do you go to fill up a hole that leaves you hollow inside?
And who do you blame when the guilt and the shame that you carry eats you alive-
and why is it i have to live with your lies when the truth is in front of your eyes?
.............. So when is it right to be left in the dark for a reason that never made sense ?
And when is it wrong to be right all along and know that it s more than a guess ?
Why is it i am the one crusified for trying to live without life?
And who said that fools can make up the rules when they're more wrong then times that their right

This one could still use a few touches, but I love it.  The rest are touching, though a few a bit morbid, but this one to me hits a bit harder, if you will. The line in bold is a bread winner.

You're welcome, I do the same thing at times.  Once in a while, when I'm lacking inspiration, I'll look back through my "catalogue" for which poems I should revisit.  But other times, I will know I have written something that I feel is very good, and will continue to work on it consistently until I feel it is perfect.  Of course, this leads to me frustratedly scrapping a poem as often as it leads to me completing a project.

**** I don't have a title for this one, ... so maybe after reading it someone could suggest one for it*****

<verse 1>
each day that passes by
reminds me constantly just how I try
to overcome my adversities & numb thing that're hurtin me
& extinguish the inferno , all this fire that is  burnig me

this week .. it seems to drag on
trying to figure out how it all went wrong...
I sit and ponder as my mind starts to wonder
I try to stay afloat,, kinda scared I'm going UNDERRRRR

<chorus A>
as i I sink to the bottom the my inevitable demise
these chains anchor me  to the reckage left behind
I cry out for you ..I have nothing left to lose
completely out of breath I close my eyes I pray for you................ .....

<verse 2>
each moment  I reminisce
I get caught between hatred and bliss
to love someone so dear,so what?
The pain has tore this heart apart

each year it seem to reappear
certain dates recreates these forgotten nightmares
and I lay there a ponder, will I ever grow stronger
try so hard to traed the waters.. yet I am still going UN-DERRRRRRR.... OH WHOH OH OH

<chorus B>
As I sink once again until I hit the rock bottom
dejavu yes its true coulda sworn that I've forgotten
WHY I CRY OUT FOR YOU, I haven't got a clueeee............ ..

ohh.....

so why , do I... miss the one who causes these scars
and why,..would I cry for the one who broke my heart
I said NOW WHY SHOULD I TRY.. WHEN IT WAS DAMAGED FROM THE START..
Ohh why ....

<verse 3>
Growing older now..severing regrets
my soul although forgiving, this heart will not forget
I don't need nobody... don't want your lies
don't yearn your baggage  or your empty eyes
I won't waste my hate, won't waste my time
after this song ,I won't waste one more line
all the effort put forth.. exhasted my drive
I'll dedicate my energy to living my lifeee.........

<chorus C>
as I sink to the bottom for the very last time
as these chains drift away along with the pain I kept inside
I hear my name fade away from the ghost you left behind
for there nothing else to say I turn my head to wave goodbye
dejavu, I swear it's true .. I have felt this way before
I'll ride the waves..until the day til both my feet they touch the floor
I'm moving on,growing strong  I DON'T NEED YOU ANYMOREeeee........ ......
ohh.. ..as I wake up this morning  I have weathered... this storm

Opening a Calendar to Circle Dates I Would Rather Forget

or

'Tis Only Red Marker Surrounding a Meaningless Number

or

Today is Surely Important (But I Can't Remember Why)
