Could it be that Riad is not being played because of the lawsuit? since it's the only CD song not being played.. just a thought....

Great shout.

Wow!  All I can say is wow!

Last night's show was fantastic!  (I just woke up and my ears are still ringing!)

I'm so glad I went!

(The only other time I saw GNR was in '92 at the same venue.  Axl was cranky that night and seemed content to complain about everything.  I also seem to recall that Matt's drum solo was like 20 minutes long...  Anyway, that '92 show was just not that much fun...)

Last night was poles apart!

Axl seemed happy!  He was smiling!  He was laughing!  (He only seemed a bit upset between Prostitiute and This I Love.  He let go with a bit of profanity and left the stage for a short time.

I love Chinese Democracy, so seeing all of it performed (except the one song it I occaisionally skip past), was amazing!  (Once they did Catcher In The Rye, Prostitute, and Madagascar, I relaxed a bit because those were the three songs I was really hoping to see done live.  I prefer the new songs to the old stuff.

We more than got our money's worth!  (Thanks, guys!)

I'm sure Tommy said that Riad was the one they were least interested in playing or something

Good stuff, was never a fan of that song in any of its incarnations, total snorefest, nice chorus but apart from that....zzzzzzzzz

Great setlist, still hoping for estranged and breakdown ... (let me hear it now) XD
and like someone was saying (Too lazy to check), DJ and a Rejuvenated axl are making this click.
If they release another album or two then that would be pretty good.. (Didnt they say CD was gonna be a trilogy?)

"Heaven's To Mergatroid. Heaven's to Betsy. Good Heavens. For Heaven's Sake."

Axl said this before he launched into "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" (so he seemed to be in a good mood)

This was just one of many highlights for me - and I stupidly thought they would come on late so I arrived late and missed 1/3 of the show. Actually I left before the encores too because I was tired so only got to see from 'My Michelle' through 'Nightrain.' Those were my top two favorites. 'I.R.S.' was incredible - and the audience seemed silent after and during most of the Chinese Democracy songs which kinda added to the strange atmosphere.

At one point Axl said "ever feel like you are in the middle of a bad Simpson's episode?"

Other highlights for me. Axl on piano! Have not ever seen them live so I did not know he was a great piano player.

'Whole Lotta Rosie' you must see. Holy Shit! That rocked!

'Don't Cry', which is not one of my favorite songs was a beautiful stripped down arrangement. Kinda gave me chills.

Axl mentioned he was in a bad mood at one point and kept running off the stage for something but not sure what it was. Did not really take away from the performance at all though. He is one of the greatest frontmen I have ever seen in concert. He gave 150% and honestly don't know how. I would say his vocal range is not where it was 20 years ago but he is still better than anyone else out there right now.

He also made fun of DJ Ashba at one point saying this was the first time he was sober on this tour. Hopefully Ashba won't fuck things up for the rest of the tour. Axl is proof you don't need drugs to rock hard. Holy shit this was the hardest rock concert I have ever seen. And I did not even see all of it.

Catch them while they are hot. That is all I have to say.

Negative points - shitty sound in the Tokyo Dome. And not sure if something was wrong with Axl's mic but it seemed like it. Other than that the show was legend.

I'm not too sure, but something upset Axl for a few seconds.  He let fly with a couple of F-bombs and left the stage.

I think the set was being decided by Axl as the concert went on and maybe someone (Dizzy?) wasn't where Axl wanted him to be (meaning, I don't think he was behind the piano at the time).  (I'm only guessing and might be 100% wrong...)

There seemed to be a bit of confusion, and band members played a few chords to prevent things from becoming totally silent.

Anyway, Axl came back out and the concert continued from there.  He was later smiling and joking, so whatever got him miffed didn't last long.

Hi dear.

the world GNR funs, of course, without Slash, Duff ... GNR is still new GNR, but AXL was almost same as I remember him 17 years ago. He rolled and danced as if we were back the time although he gets weight and fat a little. He matured, differently in figure and in emotion, but he was again in front of us, with crazy falsetto and dark down voice from time to time.

Romantic in November Rain, This I Love. Melancholic in IRS, Madagascar, TWAT... WTTJ, Nightrain, It's so easy Rocket Queen still drive real...
Whole Lotta Rosie???!  NICE boys!!! ....Crazy.... too Crazy.
Wonderful to end Paradise City. Long 3.5 hours no dull intervals. Amazing, Thanks Axl I was almost crying. My most expensive ticket 12500 yen in my life was fully paid off and gave the change. I was very happy to have seen him in 2007, but this time again my 17 years and Axl Rose, with this very active stage, life is good to live and worth a fight to survive.

I hope you all in the world go and see him and his team.
Thanks Axl!! The world is waiting for you and good luck!
