You pointed out something very important here.. I have a friend who doesnt like "rock" music because its "angry music." It irritates me every time I think about it.. Which genre of music doesn't have some form of anger? Now I can understand if its bunch of screaming, I hate that shit too.. But whats wrong some aggression and anger? Aren't you suppose to express yourself in the form of music... This same person loves classical music,it bothers me even more that all the great classical music artist (Beethoven, etc) had part of their music pieces where the tempo would be raised, and you hear all the crazy mood swings in the music.. isnt that anger??? I just don't get it.. A true artist is one who can express himself w/o the fear of rejection, thus music is a true expression of one's inner feelings..

Anyway, just something you brought up and I had to address it.. I come to conclusion that many people are very arrogant towards music and do not understand it at all.. Problem is that people expect to find treasure floating on water... yet the real treasure lies below in the depth of the ocean...

That's very good point about classical. I always thought the same way too. Even though it's not screaming with vocals, most times the musician screams through the instruments. IMO Classical music has so much more emotion than music today ever could.
This is simply a revenge mission by the US on Libya.  This will teach them a lesson for attacking Doc Emmett Brown in Back to the Future....... Damn Libyans

Guns N' Roses
The Replacements
Muse
Alanis Morissette
Oasis (I think)

I'll never be sure about number five

Muse is about to move up to the number two spot. :~

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Fuck you, whore.

Johan is not nuts. At least not anymore nuts than the rest of us. He is ruled by his own psychology, which includes jealousy that he cannot sing that high.

Classical music stimulates me in a way no other music can - it is so deep on a musical level that once I started learning musical theory, I had my mind blown. I love Wagner's music the most; it just has so much stuff goin on it. Awe inspiring.

I'm sorry :(

I'm in a huge Muse phase. But good news for you, Mr. TSI?, I'm starting to get into a 'Mats phase.

So in that case, Muse and The 'Mats are both number two
I can't decide between the two

Just a suggestion :~

some touring bands-as in like what GNR is at the moment or say Ozzys band where they play already established songs etc

*) Steve Hunter and Dick Wagner (guitars) Prakash John(bass) and Penti "Whitey" Glan (drums) who backed both Lou Reed (live albums Rock And Roll Animal and Lou Redd Live) and then Alice Cooper when he went solo (they feature on Welcome To My Nightmare-and while only Hunter and Wagner appear on the following 2 studio albums this band was the one which hit the road for all 3) Alice himself is pretty rough in it,but the "Welcome To My Nightmare Motion Picture" shows how fucking great this band was-the mixing is abysmal (classic play the band down style)but when Steve  Hunter and Dick Wagner have their duel (Devils Food) its fucking killer.
The Alice Cooper Show live album is from the Lace And Whiskey Tour (77) and is well worth a listen.

*) Ozzys band in 89: Oz, (Sabbath bassist/wordsmith) Geezer Butler, a young Zakk Wylde on guitar and the late Randy Castillo on drums. This lineup toured the No Rest For The Wicked album and got its own live EP Just Say Ozzy (89) but Geezer left before another studio albu...that band had a lot of potential-its half of Black Sabbath (Ozzy sang,Geezer played bass and wrote the lyrics) 95s Ozzmosis is pretty much the same band (different drummer) and is very good,2 of the 10 songs were co written by Geezer Butler and were very promising.
