malcom young-much like angus, seems to know about 4 chords

ace frehly is the best on your list but he's still nothing particularly special









a real underrated guitar player would be Rusty Cooley (none of you are likely to know him but if you bothered to look him up you would understand why i said him), and Miika Tenkula (RIP)

Cooley is a great player, but he approaches "speed" (which can be an avenue of expression) in the same way Michael Angelo Batio does (= more = better). To me, his pretty one-dimendional songwriting isn't underrated at all, but his technical proficiency certainly is....

Eh, honestly? Billy Corgan.

I consider underrated and overrated and over used word, but Billy Corgan is so often referred to as an asshole that like Axl, people forget he is somewhat talented. He doesn't shred, he's not naturally gifted and God-like, but he is as creative as they come with 6 strings.

Michael Schenker

Former Scorpions (at 16!) UFO (on and off because he's unpredictable) and his own band MSG. Slash mentioned him in his book as one of his influences.
My 14/15 year old teenage crush.  At that age Schenker was a god to me.....:smoking:  :rockon:

Billy Corgan - As TSI said he has the ability to turn a simple rock song into a genius work of art. He's so innovative and his soloing just compliments his voice so much.
