Bob Kulick has probably been on more records by popular bands than most people know.
He's an ace session musician who can shred and/or lay low in the shadows.
He's the very definition of underrated.

He's also played guitar on many "hit" albums...though many times he was uncredited  as most session musicians are

(I believe he did most of the lead guitar studio work in KISS as early as Rock And Roll Over all the way until Vinnie V joined).

I believe you are correct. Ace wasn't on nearly as many songs as Gene and Paul would have you believe.
Nor was Peter Criss for that matter.

Indeed, I believe that on both of Criss' and Frehley's (first) departures of the band both featured only on one song from that respective "last" album, the one they sang.
