Guns N' Roses To Play Thunder Bay?
« on: October 31, 2009, 04:02:16 PM »
THUNDER BAY - Guns N' Roses in Thunder Bay? The band released their Canadian tour dates on October 19th, and Thunder Bay was not listed.

However word is out that the city has been added to the tour in what is being called an "Off-Day Headline show".

"SKID ROW vocalist Sebastian Bach will support GUNS N' ROSES alongside DANKO JONES on the band's upcoming Canadian tour. He has announced an off-day headline show for Thunder Bay, Ontario on January 22nd at The Roxy".

The word on this show comes early this morning. Is it a Halloween trick or a treat for Thunder Bay's fans of metal? Time will tell.

GN'R is playing in Winnipeg on January 13th, and Hamilton on the 23rd. Inbetween are stops in Regina, Calgary and Edmonton.

The chiropractor just popped 3 ribs back into place, re-aligned my body and fixed 4 pinched nerves and then proceeded to tell me "Have a great show, now go break a leg" Ha! WTF?

At first I thought that this was a seperate show Sebastian would be embarking on himslelf. I though he and a few local bands (which woud play on the undercard) would do a show, but obviously that's not the case.

You think gnr will join him for that show?  Seems unlikely since it says Bach will be headlining... but who knows?  That would be cool if Axl made a surprise appearance.

Well the article's obviously suggests that this date is in indeed part of the tour.

True... but the (Headline show) beside the Thunder Bay date makes me believe that Bach is headlining that show... crazy thought huh?  I don't know, I could be wrong but remember this is from Bach's webpage not gnr's.

I would most certainly think that because of this one line, the date is part of the Guns N' Roses tour.

Well that would be cool if it worked out to be that... Gnr would be the biggest band that Thunder Bay will ever see... EVER!

This is pretty obvious. IT IS  BACH HEADLINE STOP. GN'R won't be there. "Off day headline show" means the big band are taking an "off day" and an opener is playing a "healine show"
