I shouldn't be too harsh on him. He's an ex celtic player after all. Although he did give an interview saying the club was too small for him - we couldn't afford to keep him. Which is true, but even so, some players (like Larsson) choose to be there out of love for the club. not money, like Mr Bellamy.

When Blackburn bought him, he had talks with Moyes & Everton. Everton are a far bigger club than Blackburn & had made it to the Champions League qualification stage, he chose Blackburn because they accepted a clause in his contract that said he would always get equal pay with the clubs top earner whilst under contract....need I say more about the man?

He's a damned good impact sub though - he knows how to use space really well and I reckon he's going to do well this year.

his definitely no ronaldo, but tevez is very overrated. he has no control of the ball and his finishing leave a lot to desire too

Like Forlan? :lol: Na I know what you mean. But I like Owen - he is a natural finisher, and like I said before, he knows where the space is and how to use it. And now he's only going to come on as a sub his fitness should be easier to maintain. By the end of the year I reckon people will be saying it was a stroke of genius by SAF.
