there's different kinds of genius . artistic vs mathematical for example. people can even be genius manipulators , so raw I.Q. isn't always the best measuring stick for genius . there are even comedic geniuses , people who are masters in the creation of humor and the timing of it to pull it off . mathematical type geniuses are a lot easier to identify than artistic ones since judging art and comedy is  largely a subjective thing . i don't think axl is a genius at any level, but when he's at his best he certainly is a kickazz performer and has one of the coolest voices ever for rock n roll music .

I am an asshole and act very condescending but I know I'm not smart, my IQ was 124 last time I had a proper test (school) and I'd expect Axl's to maybe sit around 130.

He's a great poet and artist, seems like a very abstract thinker, but yeah.. I can see the writing on the wall.
