I have been going through my hard drive with my mate watching so many films recently it isn't even funny. We're currently watching all the Star Wars films. Watched Empire last night - good god now THAT is a film

Although our Star Wars adventure sadly included the prequels :'( :'( :'(

My girlfriend (!) and I are also watching all the Star Wars movies at the moment. From ep.1 to 6.

Yesterday we watched A New Hope.

Nice! You are a lucky man to find a girlfriend who likes Star Wars :shy:
Episode IV is great, but V is better. Empire is so so good...I can't explain how good it is.

Brick.

American neo-noir movie released in 2005. Was never a huge commercial success, but cost only 500,000 usd and was met by positive reviews.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, from beginning to end.
7/10

I hope, I do not wait.

The Prestige. Great movie about two rivaling magicians who go to extremes to outperform each other.

And The Empire Strikes Back: no explanation necessary!

Saw

I´ve been trying to stay away from this movie (and the seguals) ever since the movie apperead. I ended up liking it a lot.

4/5

Stop right here and it will remain one of your favourite horror thrillers. If you decide to continue, Saw II is decent and Saw III is bearable. Everything else is utter bullshit, they twist the story to a point of destruction. The whole idea of the originial movie vanishes and it becomes one of the most pathetic franchises you'll ever see. Comparable to Police Academy.
The band is just fantastic, that is really what I think
Oh by the way, which one's Pink?

Real Steel: It's like Rocky IV all over again, with Robots!

For those who love 80's typical underdog story, this is definite 8.5/10. For those who hate those types of movies, 4/10

The Matrix trilogy. Absolutely fantastic first film, gets worse in the middle and tails off at the end...should have stuck at the original film guys.

I actually really enjoyed the 2nd part - great fighting scenes and Monica Bellucci :) The 3rd was garbage...

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy - I thought it was a brilliant film. Don't go and watch it if you want action though. It is a great 'British' film - by which I mean understated dialogue, lots of tension and no explosions. Really gripping stuff though.

+1. Best film that i've seen so far this year. There is one seen towards the end, that has no dialogue, its one of the best scenes i've ever seen. Powerful and subtle at the same time
