I'll agree. I have just watched every single bond film over the last week, and the two Daniel Craig ones are far and away the best. Casino Royale is one of my fave films of all time, and next to it Quantum of Solace is a disappointment. But compared to the rest of the franchise, it stands as a shining light next to the turd of Her Majesty's Secret Service :yuck

Conan The Barbarian (the new one):

Was pretty pissed off going in, since i wanted to see 'Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy' but my friends wanted Conan. Ended up enjoying it a bit, entertaining action movie. TTSS would have been better though.

Green Lantern:

Was better than i thought, but still just ok. Glad i waited til it came out on DVD.

I can sort of appreciate what OHMSS was trying to do. It was the first time they tried to semi re-invent Bond. Sure, they fumbled it but I remember liking it as a kid and would have been infinitely better if it had a better Bond.

And the Craig Bonds better than the early Connery ones... surely you jest sir... :O

Drive - all the hype ruined the movie a bit for me, i still liked it but it wasn't as violent as i thought it would be. Also a bit too slow.

Due Date 7.5/10 --- I heard some bad reviews so i had low expectations going in. It was one of the funnier movies I've seen in a while! Worth a watch...

I got the impression from the trailers that it was gonna be a shitfest  :giggle:

I once bought a big book of Robert E Howards original Conan stories real cheap, thats where Id be drawing from if I was making a new Conan movie.

I have been going through my hard drive with my mate watching so many films recently it isn't even funny. We're currently watching all the Star Wars films. Watched Empire last night - good god now THAT is a film :bow: :bow: :bow:

Although our Star Wars adventure sadly included the prequels :'( :'( :'(

tempting! im gonna try to get it.  besides, i cant picture Conan performed by another guy who isnt arnold. what's more, i think even Arnold couldnt perform his own character anymore
