:). Not if you're in Norway; the moose was shot by my daddy-in-law, the mushroom picked by me and the broccoli grown by my wife. Next year we might have potatoes and carrots, too :banana. Then we just need a cow to make the stew/sauce.

In all seriousness home grown food is great. Maybe one day I'll start a garden. Well probably not but it's fun to talk about  :ninja:

I must ask: how does the moose taste? Is it anything like venison?

No, not really. By the time I was finished I still hadn't discovered if it was actually chicken or some sort of mystery pony meat. Regardless of that, the meat itself had a rather unlikable taste.

Unless of course you were referring to SoulMonster's post in which case I must yell: Real people get their food from a freezer, not from a fresh garden!!!!

 :giggle:
I love broccoli and cauliflower
Except in the garden of my mother only grow tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers

I've missed homegrown food since I live in the city.

Yeah, pretty similar, perhaps a bit stronger game taste.

I have never tried moose but the deer and boar apart from having stronger taste, are tougher to chew than vension. My dad soaked them in special marinate for hours in order to make the meat more tender.
