Mostly Bruce as you'd expect but there's some really nice guitar work, especially on Jack of All Trades, where Tom Morello plays guitar.

I don't have a hard copy - I downloaded it from Amazon. I'd been listening to it on last.fm and I wanted certain songs from it for a glam-esque compilation I have been working up so I bought it. (Some pre-Young Man's Blues release studio demos are available on last.fm as free downloads but don't waste your time cuz they pretty much suck except the cover of LA Woman) My compilation's got Hell City Glamours, The Compulsions, Duff McKagan's Then and Now (Beautiful Disease version) and The Outpatience' Wound up in a Vega on it so far and may end up with a Kix song or two and some T-Rex but it ain't done yet so we'll see what fits on a standard cd.

Still need Michael Monroe's Sensory Overdrive to cheese it up and maybe segue into some Wendy O Williams. Can't afford everything on my wish list all at once so I buy myself a little something here and there. The list is looooong. I can't help it.

One song off of Use Once and Destroy has some nice and greasy slide guitar work on it so it dovetailed nicely into another ongoing compilation playlist I've got going which will need to be a 2-cd set before long. I've been gifting various versions of that as a single cd. The world needs more good and greasy slide guitar playing in it. LMK - I've just got me some cloud storage.

Thanks for all the info  :banana

I didn't know they had any other albums besides Young Man's Blues. I had that on cassette back in the late 80's and loved it but was never able to find a copy of it on cd. I do have it now though  :ninja:

On a side note, Johnny Depp was briefly in Rock City Angels as a guitarist

the story I got is JD was hanging with them guys and sort of co-wrote guitar parts and lyrics, probably just friends sitting around on the porch jammin', drinkin beers and barbeque for one fun summer.... or not summer, I think it was in Florida. An excellent way to hone some new songs.
