I've been thinking about buying albums online for some time now and considering the offer in our stores I have no other choice.
There is no stores with used CD's, however, there are other possibilities of buying the used CD's, but people often do not follow through with the agreement or bring CD's that look like they had been through WWII.
I don't mind Greatest Hits in general, becuase a lot of them are good. And there's tons of bands who have 20 good songs and the rest is shit. I still hope the current situation will improve, but I have my doubts.
I'm currently at 96.
Last albums bought:
Robert Plant-Pictures at Eleven

. I had it on cassette, but wanted it on disc, so I could actually listen to it! Classic album, and the reissue CD has "Farpost" on it, which was originally only found as a "B" side or on the "White Nights" soundtrack( good movie, BTW, Baryshnikov and Gregory Hines' dancing is FAB!)
3rd copy of GNR-AFD

-wore out the others

Kid Rock-Cocky good, but I like Devil without a Cause and rock and Roll Jesus better
Pearl Jam-Ten,

again cassette, needed cd!
Pink Floyd-Animals

had the CD long ago, and it disappeared. I soooo love the use of animal qualities as a metaphor for qualities found in people! Pigs, Sheep, Dogs, gotta love it!

Pearl Jam Backspacer

The Black Crowes-The Lost Crowes.

2nd copy-wore out the first one. IMO their best album, tho' I do not have Croweology-Next on my list...
I have a friend who owns several thousand, and that does not include vinyl, or cassettes, AND he's not a DJ! You could buy a car with the amount of $ spent.... scary, huh?
I don't think it will improve either because, as I mentioned in an earlier post, the selection has dwindled considerably here in the US as well, largely due to downloads, and internet buying. The days of a local "mom and pop" shop are pretty much over

As I mentioned as well, I am on the hunt for old vinyl of lengendary cover artwork, but that is very hard, especially for the most popular albums...

I'd really like to get a copy of Sticky Fingers with the zipper and the Warhol artwork

You're in Slovenia, right?

Can you go into Italy or Austria for music?

I'm not sure how the selection is in either place, but, just a thought....also, what about your capital, Ljubljana? How about EBay for used, bootleg, live, etc.
Just trying to help a younger fan...

and yes, I am almost positive I am older than most on here...

but a lady NEVER discloses her TRUE age...

Let's just say I'm old enough to remember and know better, but young enough to have fun and rock out
