I purchased the new RHCP album today. I liked it throughout the first listen but will (might) be back in a few days with another review.

I generally don't like live albums and this live album isn't changing my mind anytime soon.
It's pretty much a greatest hits album with crowd noise thrown in and redundant intros added and the obligatory announcing of what song is next

So I should avoid it and just buy a W.A.S.P. greatest hits album? I'm generally not a live album fan either but the Bang Tango live albums are great, especially the one simply titled "Live".

I'm not a fan of greatest hits albums either  :lol:

But if I had to pick, I'd go with the greatest hits...unless it's Aerosmith..those dicks always add shitty sounding live songs to their never ending amount of greatest hits albums.
