For my birthday, my wife got me "Sting in the Tail," the newest and last album from the Scorpions. And so, I got her the "Greatest hits of the Scorpions."

There's a show called "That Metal Show." They recently had a show-down between Scorpions and Accept. I choose Scorpions any day. Klause Meine and Rudy Schenker rule. Granted, Accept had a bona fide hit with "Balls to the Wall." And no one ever knew of the more solid stuff like "Princess of the Dawn." On a good day, Udo sounded reminiscent of Bon Scott from AC/DC. In fact, when I first heard "Balls to the Wall," I thought it was AC/DC.

Klaus Meine of the Scorpions, however, has his own unique sound and has the range and clarity of a german operatic tenor. There was no mistaking Scorpions for anyone else. And that is key to success. Whether you are Ronnie James Dio or Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones.

Scorpions had their own distinctive sound and look. Where as accept was trying to look like Judas Priest and sound like AC/DC.

^I had the exact same reaction to Accept - sounded incredibly similar to AC/DC on several songs. Kind of put me off.

Metal Heart is indeed a heavy metal classic though

Love that show and I remember that episode

Fuck you, whore.

Johan is not nuts. At least not anymore nuts than the rest of us. He is ruled by his own psychology, which includes jealousy that he cannot sing that high.
