Syd Barrett was always this mystic person, especially after he dropped the name and went living back to his mother or sister or wherever. I remember reading how fans bothered him year after year and he didn't want anything to do with them. He was into gardening, biking and long walks. Extraordinary guy.  :lol:

I've always found it weird how he didn't want to be associated with his past. I love The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn and some of his solo songs but musically he could never compete with Waters or Gilmour.
