[Shacklers Revenge]

Adler was on Eddie Trunk's radio show tonight with Chip Z'Nuff. He said he's been two years sober and he had lots of good stuff to say. He was slurring his words and sounded a little crazy, but when somebody called in and asked him about it and he said he'd had a coke induced stroke in 1994 and it affected his speech and also his thought process.

"I expect everyone to come down to Dingbatz and say hi to me and Axl, oops I mean Alex."

On Chinese Democracy:
"I think Axl's voice is amazing. It should've been called W.A.R. for W. Axl Rose. I suggested that to him. But this way it would've been a much bigger seller."

"Don't confuse motion with progress" -Chip Z'Nuff on the lack of promotion put into Chinese Democracy on the part of the record company

When asked why there was so much venom between Axl and Slash: "Why do butterflies fly. Why are there clouds in the sky? There is no reason."

On Axl deserving to have a room with a bowling alley in it: "He deserves it! He's a god and a legend. He is an asshole but he is still a legend. I love him!"

i agree with you here. i normally defend him but... this is just f**ked. in his last interview he didn´t like ChinDem and said that Axl's voice wasn't recognizable, but now he's saying his voice was great....

But anyways,I love Steven but when he said hes been 2yrs sober,thats a lie,I watched Celebrity Rehab and Sober House and he was in horrible shape.But if he is sober,then good for him

that's the articles lie. Adler didn't say that. he did quit on hard drugs in fall of 2008. he still smokes joints and drinks alcohol.

it's true, but why isn't he self-consistent    Maybe rehab helped him to see that Chi Dem is not a bad album and that Axl's voice haven't changed afterall

And the only reason hes done more than Ax(shows as you mentioned)is because they filmed him in rehab!!

Well, I rather see a rockstar with their personal life in control than the mess that Adler became. It's true he is out there playing music. I think that it's awesome that he is out there playing. So many want to see the former GNR drummer and he is playing for them. I wish Axl was doing the same.

I forgot about how it came out just  in Nov but still Axl is MIA! WTF is wrong with this picture. I never knew in my life of a musician or anyone in entertainment put out material and not back it up with at least one public appearance unless there dead!

I know hes MIA,and yes he did give interviews about the album,so did some of the other band members

He probably hasnt said much cause hes pissed about the album sales and the record company not backing up the record,and quite frankly I dont blame him!!

I personally think that C.D was just a huge monkey on Axl's back,it was never gonna live up to the "it took 14 years" ....."it cost blah blah blah" hype. I think it will all kick off with the next installment. That wont have to live up to the nonsense........... ..but then again I have no facts to back this opinion up with so i could be totally wrong!

I personally dont think that any album from anyone could live up to that kind of hype.
