You're being to kind. I screwed up a chord. On the last part it goes D G F G D. Instead of F, I went to A, which put me half an octave higher and threw me off.

So, I've recorded it again with the right chord. We'll see if that one turns out better. I'd thought of just recording the ending but thought, no, I will do the whole song over again.

That's awesome ron, it takes balls to do that. Sometimes I'll be singing along to a GNR tune, and then a member of my family will walk in the room, and I'll have to stop and pretend I wasn't doing anything. And then it's a bit awkward, anyway......

I've performed in public and for friends and family for a really long, long time. So, I'm kind of used to it. What is ironic is that I'm a tall guy. 6' 6" and about 220 lbs. I look like a biker, even with short hair nowadays. Yet, I have a high, soft voice, at least for singing. I speak in mid-baritone.

Just keep singing, anyway. Even if you hit a wrong note. Everyone hits a bad note. It's only perfect on a studio album where you can have several takes and punch in the one you like.

It's not that I don't think I sing well, I can actually pull off a wide range from deep voices to axl-like raspy screams, it's just that hardly anyone I know, family or friends, appreciates that type of singing as is only really found in rock music. It's also as I'm singing to myself really, and I can see them thinking, 'Ok...whatever'.  :paranoid:
