I met Tommy the other night!

I went to see Soul Asylum the other night in Niagara Falls, NY and I met him after the show. I just kinda gushed at him for about 30 seconds about how awesome he is and how The Replacements are the greatest band ever and I gave him a big hug and a kiss. He's really cool and friendly in person.

1. You were near my hometown
2. You have great taste in music

1. You met one of the single greatest man in music...and I didn't
2. You went to a Soul Asylum concert and I wasn't even aware of

He didn't say much to me but he commented on my I <3 MPLS shirt. I said something to him (I forget what...the whole encounter is kind of a blur) and he was like, "and I see you love Minneapolis!"

I asked him how his new solo album's coming along he said "slowly". I probably should have asked him about a tour, but I forgot.

 I did get one picture with him but the girl who took it hasn't sent it to me yet.  :disgust:

But yeah, he's pretty great in person.  :D
