the thing is pretty cool, but I haven't received it yet.  But I've heard demos of it, and it seems really cool.

Those are neat. Back in the old days, everything was stomp boxes. Then, people got digital effects units like mine (Roland GS-6) with a foot controller to cycle through patches.
