I don't see a problem with just general discussion topics being discussed in the 2009 section. If you guys really want a change, and it will happen if enough want it, do something in the Support section. Start a poll, petition - whatever. Sladdi and znake check the forums more than you'd expect

TSI thinks different. Maybe you just need to agree between mods/admin and let us know, because if not it's confusing and people keep complaining and spoiling the reading of the threads

I just can't understand his criterion to lock threads nor why he's a mod in a GNR FAN forum if he thinks a positive article is biased and kiss ass.

And I can't understand either why you are allowed to spoil every goddamn thread with whining and complaints like that's not news, that's from last year blah blah blah

If you feel offended by the use of some smileys, I think these emoticons are here because the administrator didn't think they're offensive. If you think so, then maybe you should ask these smileys to be removed. As long as they remain as an option I will use them.

Haha, you seem to suffer under the illusion that just because they are derivatives of "smileys" they must be considered nice . I tried to explain that visual representatives of insults can you just as serious as written insults to Warchild, but I don't know if he grasped it either.

The "bad" emoticons are there for people to use them, but perhaps not unprovoked in the News section as often as you'd prefer....No need to remove them, they rule in the Flamer section.

Im okay with everything as long as

1.Threads created arent simply there to alienate people who are fans of the old band. (i.e Chinese...haters)

2. It is safe to say you prefer the old band to the new band without been called musically retarded or being pigeon holed as someone who isnt "deep enough to understand Chinese Democracy". Thats why i got so pissed off with that thread in the first place.

So is your constant flaming. If you don't like what's happening in the news section, you express your opinion calmly. You do not flame members, especially if the're mods acting in their capacity as mods. I don't agree with TSI? saying that the news section should also be for General GnR discussion. Have I flamed him? No. I've merely stated my opinion in the relevent thread in the support section. Stop acting as though it's one rule for everyone, yet another for you. You are not above other members of the forum, especially not the mods.

Gaby; it is hard to moderate this section without a discussion section to move shit to. Basically, and I do think it's a great idea, and could possibly solve a lot of the problems, go to Support and give your thoughts on the idea of a simple GN'R discussion section.

That, or post your own idea on how to help with the problem.

I'm not saying sladdi is going to change the forum to suit the needs of a few people fighting constantly, but suggestions are always handy.
