The rules are there for a reason.

You should try following them instead of laughing at them, its disrespectful to the Sladdi & the board  :no.

Actually guys. I'm sorry but I kinda agree with WC here..

I do think there needs to be a GN'R general discussion section, but as it is we have one. It will look messy but I'm sure we can keep tirades, or personal opinion as conscientious as dissecting the reason the band broke up and possibly even laying the blame can be kept in areas made for such topics, where members can go wild.

Otherwise I don't see a problem with just general discussion topics being discussed in the 2009 section. If you guys really want a change, and it will happen if enough want it, do something in the Support section. Start a poll, petition - whatever. Sladdi and znake check the forums more than you'd expect :)

Opinions please.

I would like to also have this to be considered
And basicly if you have someone you dont like try not harrasing them, make your points in the right place at the right time, its not fair to on one hand say you want respect from others and in the other hand not respecting them.
One thing is to discus an idea on a topic an another is just to answer with the intent of getting other people mad at you.
Some things can be handled in a pm, like i have done plentyof times with users here, and if that can fix something then why drag it into a drama for the whole forum (even those who dont want to be dragged in ) have to bear-

This is for me the best GNR forum out there, and i truly care for it, So i would love to help with making it the best it can be and that doesnt fall for the admin and the mods to do on their own. Its something that us the forum users need to help create and mantain.

I wonder what's wrong with the thread about Baz... I was gonna comment something and it's locked with a comment from misterbrownstone that it's 2009 not 2006... but if I'm not wrong, when asked about the 3 albums worth material on a recent interview Axl has commented there's not as many songs as Baz thinks he has heard (something like that).

What's the criterion for locking threads? I'm not criticizing, I'm just curious. Thank you

I have just  :finger: misterbrownstone so I guess I'm not off topic.
I just can't understand his criterion to lock threads nor why he's a mod in a GNR FAN forum if he thinks a positive article is biased and kiss ass.

And I can't understand either why you are allowed to spoil every goddamn thread with whining and complaints like that's not news, that's from last year blah blah blah  :retard: :finger:
It's getting sickening

So is your constant flaming. If you don't like what's happening in the news section, you express your opinion calmly. You do not flame members, especially if the're mods acting in their capacity as mods. I don't agree with TSI? saying that the news section should also be for General GnR discussion. Have I flamed him? No. I've merely stated my opinion in the relevent thread in the support section. Stop acting as though it's one rule for everyone, yet another for you. You are not above other members of the forum, especially not the mods.

When I said you I wasn't talking about yourself, I said you (all) meaning to the users that normally complain.

If you feel offended by the use of some smileys, I think these emoticons are here because the administrator didn't think they're offensive. If you think so, then maybe you should ask these smileys to be removed. As long as they remain as an option I will use them.

Pssst... I have always obeyed the rules, and as a fan who logs here to read the threads I'm getting sick of reading only complaints about where does each thread belong, if it's news or opinion, etc. STOP spoiling the forum, if you don't like a thread ignore it, if you think it should be moved PM a mod, if you don't like a user take it to the flamers but PLEASE stop spoiling other people's read. Thank you

(not you in particular rds, you = the people who usually complains in like every thread)

PS: I'm not constantly flaming in the news section casino. And I don't care if misterbrownstone is a mod, if he thinks an article is biased because it talks positively about Axl and CD I have ALL the right to complain, as a fan who's a member of a fan forum.

if they're not news.  the Axl thread would be news because it is new and it is something that hasn't been discussed.

i don't see how this is a hard concept to grasp...
