I think Warchild is genuine. Which is all I can ask anyone to be. He doesn't post out of a sense of "fairness" or some egalitarian need to present all views. He posts as he sees the facts, whether they are popular or fair or not. Which is how I was brought up. There are truths and facts that are not up for a vote.
Granted, his posting style may be a bit brusque but many here would fit that description. Pot, meet kettle.
Or as I like to quote from the Bible, even though I am not a religious person, "Before you can remove the splinter of wood from someone else's eye, you must first get rid of the log on your own eye" (paraphrased.) Or, "Let he among you who is without sin cast the first stone."
I've seen some dog Warchild through the threads. Just waiting to flame whatever he says. Warchild's style differs from my own. He will reply back in the same invectives given, where as I like to laugh and I will use someone's logic against themselves, an old habit from slamming each other at work.
These are only words and this is just a forum, entertaining as it may be. But I realize it's easy to get so involved and invest emotions. We humans are prone to do that.
When I first came to this forum, one of the strongest fans of GnR quickly became evident. Warchild. Plus, I often assume the media has a bias and not everything they say is true or accurate. And the only one who consistently gives Axl Rose even a fair shot at being right is Warchild. A number of others just can't wait to crap on him at every possible chance, sometimes staying up late to drop one more deuce on either Rose or his erstwhile defender, Warchild.
I guess it's all fun until someone's feelings get hurt. Do like I did, grow old and either burn out the feelings or let them fall off from disuse.
