Society wants men to be macho and tough but then when we dont stop and cry we`re being pricks. But if we cry we`re being sissies. Men are so emotionally neglected and abused in our society is not funny.

 :O

That is so true.

I mean, I never cry in front of people, and then get criticised for it, I mean, wtf?

It truly is double standards.

I have no problems with guys crying. I think they have the right to whatever they want. Grying isn't a privilege women have although it seems like that in our society. But then again, I always say "fuck the society"  ;)

Men shouldnt cry, its a sign of weakness.

thats just your opinion. its not a sign of weakness, its a sign of emotions. only the strong face their emotions, because they know they can handle it. they know they have to let things out, not bottle it up. when people dont show any signs of "weakness" as you put it, no one tends to like them. nobodies perfect. accepting that is the quest to being the best you can be.

ANYWAY,

on a unrelated topic. here's a list of the Gay or Bisexual Music Artists that i know of:

Rob Halford
Freddie Mercury
Rufus Wainright
David Bowie
Mick Jagger
Mark Hoppus (blink 182 bassist)
Brian Warner, a.k.a. Marilyn Manson
Elton John

OK, here's a question from a heterosexual to the homosexuals on here: What do you guys think of One in a Million? For years we've had Axl's version, and the Media's version, even the Black community have had their say to some extent. But I've never heard what you think. Obviously, you won't all think the same, but I'm curious as to what the general consensus is.

Thanks :)

OKay, i just listened to this song on youtube. Yeah, the part where Axl sings "And all the faggots, who come to this country. They got it so easy, but ill never understand them. All talking so differently, just sounds like something greek to me. they say lets get together and spread some disease." or something along those lines.

Well, its a good song. good rythm guitar lines. i dont know if he actually meant immigrants because of the reference to "all the faggots, who come to this country". i have a friend who says "shit, man thats gay." he doesn't mean it as gay like to make fun of me, its just used simply in that sense (he doesn't ever think about homosexuals when he says that). But I remember when Axl Rose did a duet with Elton John back in the early '90s because of a lot of bad rap he was getting due to everyone thinking he was homophobic. Axl said that he's not homophobic and that he has nothing against gays at all.

But to be honest, no gay person anywhere is ever to use this song as a comfort in anyway. it is hurtful at any rate just hear one of my favorite singers say something like that and the part where he sings "...but ill never understand them. Spread some disease"??

Queer as Folk was a terrible tv show because it stereotyped the whole gay community as raging sluts. im gay and have been with 5 guys in the last 6 years. its hard enough to be just a person, let alone something else on top of that. you get your straight woman who are sluts, you get your straight men who are sluts. you get your gay woman who are sluts, you get your get men who are sluts. you get your Good and Bad in every population.

Pawnshop-Guitars, why did you get me to review this song. i thought we where friends, now i feel like you punched me in the face... :'(

but if it makes you feel any better then here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MF4wdJsrbdY&feature=related Axl is deffending the song and makes clear that he's not homophopic and not racist.

Whoa, sorry man :mwa And I totally agree with you; recently I've been exposed to the gay scene more than I think most are. And I would be lying if I said it didn't make me feel a it uncomfortable, but that's only my own insecurities, not a problem with anyone else. Anyway, my point is (if I eventually get there ) I've met real man sluts, who go in for orgies and stuff. But the gay guy at work who I'm good friends with is like yourself; he prefers meaningful relationships. As you said, it's just like women and straight guys.

anyways, sorry for it if it made you uncomfortable. I guess it's just I want to know more, since the media stereotypes everyone and "gives" them a viewpoint. I wanted to know what an actual viewpoint would be. If it hurt you in anyway I'm sorry man!
