Yes the setlist was a bit strange, alot of unbelievable songs not on there.
However Axl did all he could to prevent this album being released.
"Greatast Hit" albums in my opinion are released when an artist/artists are finished with writing new material and simply want to take a back seat and make a some money by re-releasing their hits. (Omitting Michael Jackson)
However ironically the Guns still are writing and touring so a "Greatast Hits" album is damaging to their reputation.
Geffen only did this to make money, and were frustrated that Axl wasn't releasing material, when all they needed was a little patience as Chinise Democracy was about to be finished an released.
