I think he meant that violating someone's privacy by posting pics and information on the web is totally uncool and goes against netiquette.

Dunno if that is a crime, but what I know for sure is that it speaks volumes about the people getting and spreading private pics and information about other users who decided to remain private.
Just imagine if someone starts to forward photos of your girlfriend/boyfriend to other people in the forums, that's totally uncool and retarded FFS!

The guys got ahold of a FEMALE's pic and are trying to claim it's me. Ask Farid, Gaby, Miss Rain or BBG about me.
They will all vouch for me. It's one big fat lie...that they try to perpetuate and it is simply not true. It's childish and immature but considering the sources,I'm not surprised.

No, it´s not a joke. Some people are spreading BBG´s pictures over the internet WITHOUT HER CONSENT as well as her real name to support a fake rumour started by someone who has personal issues with Warchild since the old GNRUnleashed days...

This/these person/s had a personal vendetta against warchild and started to spread the rumour of wc and bbg being the same person, which is absolutely false. I do know them in person. In 2006, BBG attended several shows and met some GNR fans and they took pictures together and now these people, not only are they spreading her picture and her real name without her consent but they also faked this story and some admins and a lot of users believed this amount of lies.

And, as gaby said, stupidity can not be considered a crime but what these people are doing can.

Neither BBG nor WC posted their pictures in internet so, the people who are polsting BBG´s picture are committing a crime.

BBG met some fans from the forums and attended some GNR shows together, and you know, it is normal that pics are taken as some kind of memory,right?. Some of these fans spread BBG´s pictures in internet because they believed all this shit and the fact that they can´t find any pics of WC in the net makes them assume WC and BBG are the same person. But this is all a big lie, or I better should say, a part of someone´s vendetta against them. Believe me Andy, I´ve known WC and BBG for years and I do know them in person and I can assure you this is a big lie that obviously is very easy to be believed among the WC haters.

Claiming that someone who you don't know is female over the internet is not a crime. Nor is it a sueable offence. Bearing in mind that all crimes and civil torts that a British citizen has been accused of is under UK sovereign, and, therefore, British law, means you'll never be able to make this stick. In the UK defamation law can only be accepted if the claimant has lost finance as a result of their "blackened character", or if their character has been defamed to the extent that their image is irrevocably altered for the worse in the eyes of the general public or the claimants companions. Calling you a girl clearly does neither of these things.

I hate to grace what was a ridiculous (and hopefully intended a a joke) comment with a genuine reply, but I felt it had to be said.

All well in good in the UK. In America, however, you can sue anyone for anything. And if you, the defendant do not show up, the case is awarded to the plaintiff by default. I'm not supporting WC's threat of legal action. Just want you to know that the british empire does not extend to this continent. Uhm, according to Norwegian law at least you can't make pictures of other peoples public without their consent, even if you are on those pictures too. Kind of annoying if you accidentally caught someone else on photo, but you still need their consent.
