And since the issue is posting exclusively personal off-topic in threads I am of the opinion that I
am a good example.
And i mean that as a recommendation, I have given youa couple of recommendations on how to adress your issue, and you said you hadnt done that because you didnt know about it. I gave you sometime to actualy now that you know do it,. Yet you keep making this thread out of topic and on the main page.
I make it out of topic? Manchild himself started posting personal off-topic posts here. As soon as that happened I followed up his lead and initiated a thread about this bad habit and as you can see, this discussion has apparently hit home with many people. It's too late to stop this now, but as I've said many times: if the mods disapprove of it being here they are free to move the thread anywhere else. I don't have the power to do that.
Maybe if you had stopped fighting the "Gang" in this thread we could all have gotten passed this.
I fight whomever fucks up this board. I don't care if that includes gangs or popes. If you want to get passed this, just get passed it. No one forces you to be part of this discussion, this thread nor that "gang".
And FYI we do send pms all the time, anf if sometimes in a thread we add a personal message it shouldnt upset you more than it upsets me to see trolling and deliverate Band bashing in this board.
Nothing that happens on discussion boards upset me. But when a discussion board is gradually falling apart because of morons taking advantage of absent/lenient moderators and disregarding the basics of common discussion etiquette, then I don't mind being the first address the situation and see what the rest of the board thinks. And I mentioned already from the get-go that I would give it up if I was alone, but apparently (judging from others here and from my PM inbox) I am not. So it is clear: people do not approve of other members crashing into threads and interrupting them with exclusively off-topic and personal posts. The fact that you are a whole fucking gang that support and back up your own selfishness couldn't care less to me.
Now please do us all a favor and stop with this Quest you are on to stop someone form saying Good morning.
I certainly will not try to stop someone from saying good morning. I want people to say good morning. And good evening. And how do you do. And happy to see you. And how's your cat. And I have a headache.
But not in a fucking public discussion board about Guns N' Roses. That they can do that with fucking smoke signals for all I care.
Im sure we all got the message and no amount of bickering will make things diferent in this case.
My respect for Manchild w/friends' intelligence is quite low so I actually need some proof that the message has sunk in before I will believe it really has. And by proof I mean either statements like "yeah, it is bad of us to diminish the value of the board with our personal chatting when there's so many other more fitting arenas for such" or an end to that fucking selfish practice.
