So not being able to distinguish between what is personal and what is public to the degree of polluting a discussion board with personal chatting is an "imagined wrong"?

*cut away more madspeak*

Farid just advised you the correct way to handle your little complaint. Read above. And if I cut away all your madspeak there would not be a post left at all.

You are the only one that has a problem with this, use the correct channels Miss thang.

No i said you were being a hypocrit and i stand by it.
Here is why..
- There is at least 100 post i could show you in the news section that could have been avoided by sending a pm, yet you are not complaining about those.
- if you intention truly was to complain about WC saying Good morning to missrain, you could have done the following:
 A) send a pm to them like you suggest they had done, and maybe ask them to keep that to pms.
 B) send a pm to a moderator and voice your complain to someone that is in the position to do something.
 C) send a pm to Sladdi voicing your concerns on the matter.
 D) Made a post about it in the correct section (support forum).
 E) Voice your frustration on the matter on a thread created in the Flames section or whatever section for that matter.
Yet lets see what you chose to do go on a rampage complaining and whining about it, make yourself and the board and other users look stupid and inmature on the way.
Drama queen comes to mind, do you think this will acomplish what you claim to be your original concern.. or are you just trying to get WC all riled up and things so out of control that moderation actualy takes place.
Whatever the answer is. Practice what you preach. If you are concerned that the forum will get flooded with sensless posts then start by setting an example.
I wouldnt mind a much cleaner ambiance.
The only rule i know about in this forum is the one Sladdi gave me when we first arrived. As to WC and la Familia ... Good night sweet dreams and see you tomorrow.

*Disclamer* The opinions and views of Farid Bak do not represent those of this forum, or its moderators.

Bravissimo, Mucho gracias Bro...

Farid just advised you the correct way to handle your little complaint.

He's quite a constructive fellow. Gotta like that about him.

You, on the other hand, are not, and you have still not answered if you actually think it is o.k. to send entirely personal messages through a public discussion board. The point that you're known to practice this can of course just be attributed to your selfishness or your stupidity. The fact that you refuse to answer my question, and instead irrelevantly complain on how I present my message, hints that you have realized that I am correct. Just to be certain you understand (and this is a trick that is often used to teach small kids that are in their selfish me-me-me-phase): How would you feel if someone else ruined your threads by posting completely irrelevant personal messages to their friends there, and not through the built-in PM system? And keep in mind that you get really annoyed when people don't stick to the subject at hand.

The second option imo

UPS, on topic

I can see clearly that some people are experiencing a sense of  Apathy, or even lethargy for something they have been anticipating for such a long time.

Whether the Album was good or not it was Always going to be scrutinized meticulously above and beyond anything else...Reviewers,as objective as they are :O .... Still believe and buy into the spin that literally engulfed an Album such as C.D.

When it arrived, and didn't stop Global warming,or cure cancer or in fact Doesn't Change their little lives...It becomes an Instant failure to them. Thus you have the uber
critics with unreasonable expectations about C.D. which
carries a mythic aura with it,and surrounding it.

Personally I think this Album hasn't hit it's peak yet, whether it goes mainstream or simply gathers a cult
following,People were ready and waiting to watch GNRs
fall on their faces, and ready with their verbal blades to slice it up,and mutilate it all because it didn't jive with their expectations.

It's a shame they can't enjoy it, due to some personal vendetta or failed expectation.IMO it honestly is a good
Album and only time will tell the story.

OK,personally I think this topic is timely considering the Billboard interview describing some reviews as a "Bloodbath"..I agree wholeheartedly that some haven't quite been fair when reviewing the Album. They hold grudges and basically want GNRs to fall on their faces, I think people will be surprised this year.

What I find particularly interesting about this argument is that my proposition is quite clear, and even though many members of the "gang" keep popping up to defend "Manchild" no one of them actually say I am wrong when I say that people should use the PM system for personal messages and not the public board. All they do is either to confuse what I am saying, criticise how I say it, or just trivialize the whole situation. I gather that they agree with me but being a part of a gang they are obligated to defend "Manchild". And that, in a nutshell, demonstrates what is wrong with gangs, in real life and on discussion boards - it forces you to be loyal even if it reduces you to a mindless drone.

God, and I thought this Dave guy was the only repetitive guy

ON TOPIC: imo, it´s a pity that some people don´t give Chin Dem a chance just because the old band doesn´t play in it. I know a lot of people who didn´t even bother for the above reason.

What I find particularly interesting about this argument is that my homosexuality is quite clear, and even though I have a massive need to be liked many members of the "gang" keep popping up and I feel so left out and isolated from society. :'(  please I know I'm a drama queen but for the love of god please pay attention to me  :'(

Sounds like a candidate for the basket weaving academy to me.
Please stay on topic mr. or miss monster.

God, and I thought this Dave guy was the only repetitive guy

Would that be that fucking god of yours? Your kinda repetitive yourself, why not try to actually put forth some arguments instead of just complaining? You can't "win" this argument by trying to insult me (comparing me with davefkn-2k, or whatever) or emphasizing the fact that I stick to my message (saying I'm repetitive); to win you'd actually have to make me understand that not differentiating between personal and public messages does not diminish the value of this message board, and so far neither you or your "gang" have even tried to attack the core of my message.
