Why do you use that vampire type voice in Sorry (but I don't want to do it.)?

Q: - Why did you decide to sing that line, "But I don't want to do it" in that voice?

A: Because I like it, feel it absolutely fits the song, is a bit reggae etc and is lots of fun personally.

Hi Axl, just one question I would love to know...

What era of Guns 'n' Roses was your most favorite and why? e.g the 80's, the 90's or the 00's?

Cheers

Hey Axl. A question about Tracii if you could be bothered answering.

A year or two ago in Classic Rock magazine Tracii Guns said something to the effect of him emailing you or someone close to you offering his help and services for the record. He then said he got a reply saying, 'that made Axl laugh, thanks' - or something similar. Is this true and what feelings do you currently have towards Tracii? Would you give him a spot in the band if he asked?

dear Axl,

i read a statement a while back saying that Guns N Roses toured Australia in 2007 because they wouldnt be doing so after the release of Chinese Democracy.  I know that we here in Australia are pretty far away and expensive to visit.  But i would love to know if this is true... mainly cause i would travel to USA to see in 09.

(i went to both shows in Melbourne in 07... front row of mosh and waited like 6 hours in line both nights.. but it was worth it)

Melbourne Australia - 15/16th June 2007
Adelaide Australia - 7th December 2010
Las Vegas USA - 9/10th November 2012

regardless all the circumstances with former members and any other issues...please see this question from the fans' point of view only:
It has been documented that every performance from the Illusion
tour until now had been professionally filmed.
The Guns N' Roses audio-visual performance vault is considered by many
as the Holy Grail of GN'R fandom and remain an important part of Rock N' Roll-History.
What are the odds that any of the GN'R video recordings will
become commercially available on DVD or Blu-Ray in the long run/over the years?
Could you see any of the classic Guns performances being marketed
similarly to the KISSOLOGY and Led Zeppelin DVD sets that have be
issued over the last few years? or perhaps a business modeled after Metallica's online digital
recording distribution site LiveMetallica.com? fans would kill for stuff like this:

1. DVD/Blue-Ray-Box: "The Early Years" (Pre-Appetite with help from Marc Canter's recordings)
2. DVD/Blue-Ray-Box: "The Appetite-Era (87-90)"
3. DVD/Blue-Ray-Box: "Illusion Era - Get In The Ring (91-93)"
4. DVD/Blue-Ray-Box: "Chinese Democracy 2001/2002 - First Round"
5. DVD/Blue-Ray-Box: "Chinese Democracy 2006/2007 - Second Round"
6. ......

Considering the lackluster Guns N' Roses "Greatest Hits" CD has sold
millions, in spite of the fact that it is essentially a rehash of
tracks that have been around for the better part of 20 years, there
would be HUGE demand for classic Guns performances on DVD, Blu-Ray,
and CD (Guns never released a real live show on CD-set by the way!!).
For the love of God, please open the vaults and give the fans
official high quality performance recordings. You are sitting on a
gold mine!!

some live talking:

- more rants/talking on the next tours please  ;)

- why did you never play "Don't Damn Me" and "Shotgun Blues" live?

- when "DIMEBAG" got shot by an psyched fan on stage in 12/2004, doesnt this scary stuff make an artist think about how to stay much more safe when playing live or going public?

- Mannheim, Germany 8/24/91:
why did you leave the stage after ~20min/after the song "Live And Let Die"?
there was no piss bottle or Mick Wall flying around. the 50.000 people there didnt get the point of leaving but kept waiting peacefully 30min before old Guns thankfully finished the whole set!
it was claimed by Slash and Duff later that this was the show Izzy decided to leave and that Matt nearly got into a fight with you backstage after "Live And Let Die"?
and hey, i was there \m/

- Live 2001-2007:
heavily Appetite-based. mainly only 4 songs from illusion era, 2 being from the appetite days (November Rain, You could Be Mine) and 2 covers (Live And Let die, Knockin' On..). any reasons behind that decision of not playing more illusion stuff live?

- the light show with the new band is stunning, did it take much time and effort to create that?

- you're pyros are louder than Manowar!! doesnt that hurt on stage? it gave me some painful ear ringing for several days after all the shows i've attended in 2006, loved that!

- do you physically train or work-out frequently?

- "This I Love" documented being written in 1992....what have been the main changes since? are some vocals on the released version still from back then?

- How far along in the production process did 'Perfect Crime'-movie get before the project was dropped and why it never has been released back then?

- Steph......hope this is not too personal. but could it be considered that -next to the old Guns problems during that time- this Steph break up was another heavy one to lift, kinda too heavy to deal with all the other problems at the same time?
