UYI2 > UYI1 anyday.

I hate to disagree. Not by much though. The more I listen to it, the more I like it. But I don't think I'll ever like it more than UYI I

Johan is not nuts. At least not anymore nuts than the rest of us. He is ruled by his own psychology, which includes jealousy that he cannot sing that high.

To me UYI1 Is half killer half filler, with great tracks like perfect crime, dont cry, double talking jive, november rain, the garden, dead horse and coma, but for me the others are average, i skip a lot when i listen to UYI1, i think UYI2 fits and flows better as an album, and has a higher amount of GREAT songs.

Y'know what's funny, that's exactly what I think of UYI II

I prefer UYI 1. It's actually my favorite gnr album and I think it's on par with Appetite. UYI II on the other hand has a lot of mediocre songs such as Get In The Ring, Shotgun Blues, My World, So Fine, Knockin' On Heaven's Door (it's awesome live, but the album version sucks), and Yesterdays.

I feel the same about both albums (too much filler for both albums)

Apart from the shitty Wal-Mart single disc, imagine how good Use Your Illusions could have been as one album..

It had all the ingredients to be better than Appetite For Destruction and I don't mean 'a little bit better' I mean blow it out of the water and shit on its corpse better

As much as I like CD I wonder if they'll ever reach the same heights musically (we know they'll never be there popularity wise)

Many, many people who are not users of this forum. Personally, I only know of 2 people in real life who actually like the album. Trust me, I know of hundreds of people!    Most people think it's too mellow or outdated or they simply reject it because it wasn't made by the original lineup (=no Slash). Personally, it fits my music taste like a glove, therefore it's hard for me to judge it in a strict way.

Exactly, same experience as mine. Although I don't know anyone in real life who likes whole album , except vezara. But, I was thinking about people from forum, cause they are the only ones who vote here. :)

UYI 2 is the best GNR album
if Get in the Ring and Shotgun Blues weren't on it, it would be a near perfect album

I love Shotgun Blues :shy:

boo :P

The perfect UYI album would be:

Right Next Door to Hell
Civil War
14 Years
Yesterdays
Don't Damn Me
Knockin' on Heaven's Door
November Rain
Breakdown
Pretty Tied Up
Don't Cry alternate lyrics
Locomotive
Estranged

I agree for the most part, but there's a few songs I would change on your list
Roses are red
Violets are blue
Fuck you, whore.

CD is good, but IT´S NOT the best album.

1. Appetite For Destruction
2. Use Your Illusion I
3. Use Your Illusion II
4. Lies
5. CD
6. The Spagetthi Incident ( crap :()
\\\"And the Lord said unto John, \\\"Come forth and receive eternal life\\\". But John came fifth and won a toaster\\\"

Indeed

This is probably my order except switch Lies and CD. UYI II and CD are tied in my book

I love Shotgun Blues :shy:

Shotgun Blues is one of few GnR songs that makes me tired sometimes.
