my other favourite song with Catcher In THe Rye!!

the singing is just amazing. especially in the end of the song .....  i love when songs build up and in the end theyre just so intense ... like street of dreams and catcher in the rye

I'd like to hear the reasoning for the change of name - The Blues is a much better title for this song imo.

Love the song though, always been one of my favourites!

I was thinking the same thing when I heard the song. The blues is a great title, street of dreams I think is a little corny. Only reason I can think of is Axl wanted to through everyone off, all the leaks called it the blues.

I think that Street of Dreams and Catcher in the Rye are the only two tracks on the album that don't work.  Something about the vocals on Street of Dreams that I don't like and its not needed on the album when you have a song like This I Love.  Another rocker would have been better.  Same with Catcher, the bluesyness doesn't feel real. another rocker would have been better.

I much prefer "Street Of Dreams" to "This I Love".The latter song is very good but feels out of time here like something that was left over from the Illusions sessions which it was ! Still good to finally have it as it is the third part of a trilogy.
"Street Of Dreams" is a fantastic song and deserves to be popular on the radio.

The Blues in Rock in Rio III 2001 concert, was the best version in my opinion. Axl voice and the melody are soft and smooth. In album was bit crude.

i tried to like Street of Dreams more than i do, but, let's put it this way: there are other songs on the album i like better.
