In my opinion, the song has alot of what "November Rain" and "Yesterdays had, in the sense that it utilizes that Elton John-inspired songwriting. Chinese Democracy's best moments are on the ballads, which makes Axl GNR more of a band geared toward singles. It attempts to reveal that Axl can pull something off alone. The solos on most of the album are not the solos that Slash performed. Slash was capable of performing some of the best guitar solos of the 1980s, better than Eddie Van Halen's. These guys are better off, as rhythm guitarists. This solo is alright. This song is good.
Anybody know that Chinese Democracy is a trilogy? Sebastian Bach said so. That means that Axl has three chances to screw up. Great. The history of GNR is going down the drain.
