the solo's are both great, but I like BBF's Solo best.

The version with Brian May might have been more "epic", but I actually never liked this version. It was rather cheesy and dated as hell. However, I absolutely dig the new version of this song and I believe that these guitar riffs and solos are a lot more catchy that the work of Brian May. Looks as if the more sophisticated listeners would prefer Brian May's version of The Blues, whereas people like me (=little knowledge about how to play the guitar) prefer the final version. Imo, this song is a B or B+, whereas it used to be a C (at most).

This song has been so spoilt. Jesus the intro sounds a right mess now, its far too fussy. And WTF has happened to Brian Mays' contribution? It sounded fantastic with his definitive signature, its still a decent song but they have ruined the demo.

I never bothered with the leaks and i was disappointed Brian May was dumped from the finished cd, but it's an absolute gem of a song!

Catcher seems to be the most 'upbeat' song on the album. its good but, by the end of the song i'm like, when is it over? otherwise its just kinda, idk, boring. i usually skip it. it fine if u guys like it, but i just don't.

I don't know why, but I can't stop listening to this song, I can live without listening to anything else, but I need to listen to this song, it's so deep, so melodic, and the guitar solo is nothing short of a masterpiece built upon Brian May, even though this song starts off a bit slow, it ends up being my favorite song, beating Sorry by a mile, just because of the beautiful guitar, drum and vocal work, and lyrical meaning.

the lyrics are some of Axl's best imo

i just love it
