WWE to use Guns N' Roses single

In our continuing efforts to work with current and established artists along with developing artists, we are presently working with AC/DC, Metallica, and Guns N’ Roses tying their newest album releases and music into our programming and web content.

In the upcoming quarter, WWE pay-per-views will feature music from rockers AC/DC and Guns N’ Roses using their singles as the official PPV theme songs.

Maybe Armageddon in december? The WWE would be the perfect way for gnr to get their album out there.

FYI here is when the wwe will use the song:

12/14 Armageddon
1/25 Royal Rumble
2/15 No Way Out
4/05 Wrestlemania

Thy'll use a theme song before then....I'd bet on either Chinese Democracy, Scraped, or possibly Riad to be a theme song. Other than those 3 I'd be shocked if they chose any other song.

could be scraped but my money is on BETTER. Rhiad has curse words and CD is too political.

It will be BETTER.

I see shacklers before better...I'll take ya up on that bet. I just pick one of those becxayse they generally pick a real "rockin"song like spoilin for a fight by acdc, not your favorite song on the cd. we'll see. I'm stickin to my list plus shacklers...

I think Scraped is a show in for this, it deffinetely sounds more like something they would use to promote a ppv

Curse words dont matter, they always cut the songs up anyway to fit vingettes. The metallica one over the micheals/jericho video was unbelievably well done.

IIRC, there was a rumour about this before.

They're using Shacklers Revenge to promote Armaggeddon. Which is again, very good promo. From what i remember, WWE play the song that they use for the event almost on repeat in the run up to the PPV.

Me too.  I went to a Smackdown show in Tacoma a few years back.  They really put on a great show.
