Couple of things i haven't seen noted anywhere: no matter how great the cd sounds, the vinyl is simply ... best sounding vinyl i've ever had. Incredible. The cd is mastered much better than most cds, but still, goodness gracious, i love vinyls. The clarity is just out of this world.
Another thing i really love about Axl's performance on CD is how he rhythms the words and lines he sings. i love it he doesn't just sing the lines straight but there's always the surprising twist of weight and rhythm... i think that's kind of blues-style influence, but the levels he takes it is new to me.
