The hole album is good, but there aren't any Hits like Welcome To The Jungle, You Could Be Mine, Paradise City, Don't Cry, Yeasterdays, Estranged, November Rain, Knoking On Heavens Door (90s)

I mostly liked Sorry, Better, Chinese Democasy and Street Of Dreams

IMO  in ChiDem there aren't hits like the listed above because the album is not commercial - it's definetely not mainstream & the music is  not so easy to digest. The music as a whole is difficult to perform & you even struggle to sing along with some of the songs. And you have to listen to it again & again in order to feel all the layers and  appreciate it fully. For me the album is a masterpiece and as every  masterpiece it's unique & not always easily accepted. And saying that I admit that there're songs on ChiDem, as If the World, which I don't understand & like, even though people who are musicians (of course I'm not) say they are innovative & brilliant from musical point of view.
IMO a song can become an anthem if it 1) has short, easy to remember & impressive lyrics with a lot of repetitions & is catchy, energetic and melodic at the same time; or 2) is a love ballad (e.g. Sweet Child of Mine is a combination of the two & it's one of GnR's greatest hits). All of the songs you listed above contain some of these characteristics.
IMO what happened  to ChiDem (the lack of popularity & low sales compared to the old stuff) is logical, because it was too much delayed - it doesn't hurt, if you make people wait for a while, but if you make them wait for too long they may lose interest and forget you. It's a pity because obviously it has cost Axl a lot (literally & metaphorically)  and ChiDem is a gem. Additionally the album is not mainstrem & I don't know whether people can fully appreciate it.  And of course  it wasn't promoted. I really hope that the next album will be realeased in the next two years & it will contain both kind of songs - anthems (to make you happy) as well as not so commercial songs (to make the old B.I.T.C.H. happy, too  ). IMO the things are moving in the right direction - DJ Ashba was a good move - he's a very talented musician &  the kids are crazy about him & that's a good promotion & the tour is going great, too. .

my chinese democracy cd review:

chinese is the best rock record since 1991's illusions. in fact, if these songs were made in the 90's, they would have made the illusions or been on the next illusions record. songs like this i love, better, if the world, street of dreams, there was a time, catcher in the rye, madagascar, and prostitute would have been cool on illusions. chinese feels like the next illusion record. not a melting pot nor a groundbreaking sound. they're big ballads. big guitar solos. not since slash on november rain, don't cry, and estranged have there been better solos than the solos on chinese. robin finck brings classic rock back on the better solo. robin brings a memorable sting to the gut on the this i love solo. buckethead brings it on chinese stuff like if the world, there was a time, and prostitute. prostitute is big buckethead. big time stuff. axl chose well with robin and bucket. the best studio session guitarists in the biz. there dedication to rock is evident on these songs. axl brings it too lol his vocals r memorable. big vocals on this i love. makes you think of november rain and don't cry. there was a time is like a hip hop paradise city. axl rhyming a story. could be cool in a johnny depp drug movie like blow. axl is really rasp and cool on better lyrics. the pace he keeps is unbelievable. brings back an appetite taste. catcher in the rye is a nice tribute to john lennon and yoko ono. should be played live more and dedicated to lennon. this i love is the best song on chinese. there was a time was the best in demo form. this i love is the best. better than twat. better comes in second. a modern rock song with classic rock stuff from robin finck. you can hear the drummin too lol brain drummin isn't inventive but it's solid. tommy and richard r good too. when you listen to a guns song, the first thing you hear, what catches ur ear isn't the base or rhythm....it's the big guitar solo. tommy and richard r constant with stuff. you can hear dizzy and chris on keyboards too. it's a big album. the best album i've heard in a long time. since the 90's. axl, robin, and bucket have made chinese worth it. they make it worth the wait. it was a long wait lol chinese is definitely worth the wait!!!

i think brain is a far more inventive drummer than frank, but the rest i agree with exept that this i love is better than twat, nothing is better than twat.....99% of lesbians agree

chinese democracy proves the best version of guns post slash is axl rose, robin finck, buckethead, tommy stinson, richard fortus, dizzy reed, chris pittman, and brain

as for twat, twat is a hip hop paradise city. another song axl wants to get away. take me down. but this i live is a big ballad on the big stage. robin finck stings you with the guitar solo. the production of the song with robin's work takes music to the next level. axl and robin work rock magic on this i love together. the best song on chinese lol

Still... What does it have to do with TWAT?
If an album comes out, then buy it. If there's a concert you can go to, then go to it. You're not owed another record. You're not owed any inside stories. You're not owed the band to be managed by people you approve. It's just electronically recorded vibrations that you happen to like.
