The "new" music video

as Rolling Stone has reported the band are currently doing a new video

I would want a trilogy of videos, similar to "Dont Cry" "November Rain" and "Estranged"

But the trilogy being "Street of Dreams a.k.a The Blues" "Better" and "There Was A Time"

I hope the videos match up to the quality and be as epic as NR and that was 15 years ago, Axl has had so long to think up new ideas for videos     

anyone else think this may happen?

if there is goin to be a trilogy, i think it would be the songs u mentioned plus the fact they are probably the strongest songs from CD imo

i doubt there will be another trilogy tho seein as we already had one and i doubt the videos will be as personal as the previous videos from the trilogy

the new video will prob have live cuttins in them eg. the Rock Am Ring 06 show plus studio stuff

it'll be interestin to see what song is released first, and who actually features in the video. It may not have any of the band members in them at all...

true, I guess Robin Finck might not be in it  :'( ........ unless they use concert footage from when he was with GNR as he wont be filming anything new as he is touring with NIN.

As long as we (and the public) see the rest of the new band, i.e Tommy, Ron, Robin and Richard, people will stop thinking Slash is still in GNR, that annoys me the most on youtube.

I hope Axl makes a kind of depression video, like Estranged, for T.W.A.T would be interesting

I don't think he would jump into a trilogy right away. That would be more of an inside thing for Axl and hard core GNR fans. I think first will come a video or two to get the GNR name out there again and build interest.

The 1st single is most probably going to be "Better"

I would be VERY suprised if it wasnt, then maybe "Chinese Democracy" with lots of war footage and
"There Was A Time" with depression and "missing something" as the theme and then maybe a trilogy. Maybe. Hopefully.

I don't beleive that the videos won't be even close of epic proportions like the trilogy of videos, because they made them when they were at the height of there career and had the money to make them of high movie standards and when ppl were actually watching videos and wanted to see videos on mtv. So I think that they will be simple videos like there AFD videos.

Tool's music videos came out after the albums, just cuz they took time to make, and they toured in support of the album.  So, we could see a video by around xmas time.

As rumored elsewhere on these boards, the 1st single is out on the 21st October and is the title track, Chinese Democracy. So hopefully it will be to "Chinese Democracy"   

I will have my eyes peeled on the music channels and youtube. Hopefully this is legit

There are currently 3 videos available... TWAT, Madagascar and Chinese Democracy... They all revolve around politics, world crisis and genocide. Just search for There Was A Time video. Very clever...
