"New Rose" and "Since I Don't Have You" are the best tracks to me

Mine too! Also I do like "Raw Power" (actually I do remember I bought the album on the day I went to see Iggy Pop live!! Nov. 93), "Ain't it fun" and "Down on the farm" and some others are quite good as well. It's "only" a cover album of course and I guess it was intended to "bridge" the gap until the next studio album (yeah, that took a little bit longer...) and as such it's a pretty good one. And the sentence in the booklet "go find the originals" says it all!!!

I'm indifferent to this album, it does have some gd songs but the fact they are all covers annoys me, its like Metallica with Garage Inc, I dont even regard that as a Metallica album.

My faves on the album are "Aint it Fun" and "Raw Power"
"broken glass and cigarettes, writing on the wall, it was a bargin for the summer and I thought I had it all..."

Ths spaguetty album is simply amazin' love it from the first to the last song on it but at the same time is was a shame to get a cover album as the last from Guns n' Roses, I'd die to hear another album after spaguetty made by Guns n' roses (slash, duff, Izzy and Axl)

Not a bad listen. Mentioned on the Tokyo 92 UYI concert just before Duff sings Attitude.

When it first came out i couldn't be arsed with it. It seemed to be no more than a stop gap album. I wanted new Guns stuff, not covers. However it's grown on me big time over the years Respect!

Guns N' Roses always had the talent to bring new light to cover songs. With all due respect for Rolling Stones but Sympathy For the Devil (sorry, I know it's not on TSI?) by GN'R is light-years in front of the oldie. As for the cover album, it's worth what it is worth. It was all fun and games for them and that's the spirit of rock n' roll. You gotta love I don't Care About You and Ain't it Fun.
I won't be told anymore, that I've been brought down in this storm and left so far out from the shore, but I can't find my way back my way anymore.........

I prefer Ain't it Fun and Black Leather.
I personally liked the album, especially since I thought it was going to be a brief buffer to the next one.  Who knew we would have to wait so long!  It just seemed like the guys had fun jamming to some old influential songs and passing them on to us.
Plus, it turned me onto some different groups.  I ended up getting the originals of almost all the songs and getting to like other songs by the artists.
