I got to the front row for Megadeth (Feb 08), and Scars On Broadway (Sep 08). Bloody amazing, well worth queueing/waiting for endless hours.

haha cool, i didnt mange to get Slash's attention, i dont think so anyway, he was wearin shades a lot of the show and spent most of his time further down the stage comin over to us just a few times like

Duff is so cool, he was basically above me the whole night :D

Dave made us laugh tho too, he jumped on to the amp/monitor thing but he hit his head on a bar hangin off a tall speaker so he stopped playin for a second to adjust it and kinda smiled with embarrasment sorta thing...it was fun

I have had front row experience for 4 times.
At Estonia, one with Aerosmith tour, one with Ozzy Osbourne´s and last one with Scorpion´s
And fourth was at Latvia, Riga, Kiss´s show.
All of them were just breathtakingly cool!

So true. I´ve been in a front row many times and nothing beats that. You get so close to the band and sometimes it feels like they play only for you and no one else.

I got a great story about that. I saw Slash , Duff , Gilby , Matt jus before a concert in our city back when they stil were slash snakepit.
I had the chance to shake hands with them and i did. I asked Slash if he wanted a bottle of Jack Daniels and offcourse he didnt say no to it. So i went to a store to buy  a bottle of Jack and in the return for that he signed my guitar. He had no problem with it doiing it . He was very amused buy it i have to say. I have many front row experiences because im a security agent. The most bands i have seen several times. I have seen Guns N' Roses 1 time  in the mid 90's another show of them went cancelled and that really sucked balls .

had another front row experience recently...

went to see the pixies at festival hall in melbourne australia.  was in the very front row right in front of frank black.  At the end of the show frank threw his pick at me but it bounced off my hand and the ass next to be snatched it up and ran away.  what is really cool is that the show was recorded and sold on cd by abby road studios and you can hear me screaming and yelling "You Rock Frank" which is cool cause i play it for people now and go "THATS MEEEEEE" lol.

going to see GNR in adelaide in december, hopefully another front row experience.

My first time being front row was seeing Roger Waters in 2007. Everything about the show rocked, from the visuals, music and ETC.

My only front row experience has been G&R.

So I guess it was fitting that my spastic teen obsession has that honor. (my first live gig, front row, didn't sleep - wandered Melbourne til 9am when trains ran home, we were 16 and country kids - greatest night ever. Had no money :laugh2: )
