Agree 1000%, although I wouldn't have been able to have met him at an arena. But Hot Leg's album is basically The Darkness with a bit more keyboards and much less Les Paul muscle.

I'm not too impressed with Hot Leg's first album though. Damn, the Darkness rocked when I saw them live back in 2004 (when they won me over) and in 2006 (at RaR where GNR also played later that festival)

New almost-front row experience!

May 2006 New York City Hammerstein Ballroom.

Me and my buddy Iconic Shawn, front row for GnR, was pretty buzzed and the security guy got pissed because I lit a joint and then threw it down real quick when I saw him coming and then I played dumb. Held up my shirt that said "We only support gay marriage if both chicks are really hot." Axl looked, at first kinda pissed looking (maybe he thought it was gonna say Slash is GnR or something.) and then gave a smirk and turned back around and kept singing. The crowd behind me saw it and everyone was asking what does it say, so I had to show them. That experience was the single greatest moment of my life, I went to New York for the first time by myself and saw GnR twice.  Made some friends, but lost every picture I took.

My almost front row experience was at the GN'R Bucharest show last September. I couldn't make it to the middle of stage so I was stuck at one of the ends and got DJ Ashba for the most of the time. I had to crane my neck to see Axl who stayed in the middle of the stage most of the time. He ran along the stage but not so much as I expected him to. And when Axl did came to our end, he tripped over some shit a fan threw on stage. Later he came back to remove it.The highlight of the show was when DJ Ashba nearly hit me on the head with on of the bottles of mineral water he threw in the audience . I fought with two other Romanians  for the drum sticks he also threw in the audience but couldn't stand a chance    Those Romanians are big and determined gyus and after all I wasn't fighting for Axl's whistle or microphone. Then they would have seen a Bulgarian B.I.T.C.H in action
 It was a great show and I had terrific time. Would do it again if they come somewhere near me.
