I had a very strange offer tonight..

First, let me show you my truck, so you can see the plate.. Then I'll tell the story..





Now, I had AXL/GNR related plates on both cars (in that picture) but the Vette's plate is only on the rear.

Anyways, I'm out taking a ride tonight, and this guy is behind me, flashing his lights and waving his arms out his windows.. I ignored it and kept driving.. About 2 miles later, he pulls up beside me at a set of lights and says "Hey, pull over up ahead please!!".

Not knowing WTF was going on, I hesitantly pulled in, and got out of my truck..

The guy says to me "I'll give you $500 right now for your front license plate!! I'm a HUGE fan and have been seeing this plate around town!!"

I took his info down, but told him I couldn't do it..  I just thought it was funny that someone (else) out there was a big enough GNR freak to offer $500 for a damn license plate!!!

I have to tell ya though, this plate has gotten more attention then half the things I've done to the truck!!!  :bow:

Ok, that's my story for the night, as lame as it is!!

Ya know, this plate has gotten TONS of attention, but never $$ offers.. What's funny, is I've had some redneck truck owners come up and say "Oh cool, axle grinder!!! NICE!!"

haha dumbass guy, just get one yourself for like a quarter of the price!!! i always wondered if one day i would be cut off in traffic by some bigass hummer and the license plate would say WAXLROSE. haha i would piss myself! does anybody ever think that you're axl?
