Haha, soz chez. just woke up with the laptop beside me.

Grumpy-head and all that.

haha no sweat dude, I think Spain and Germany are obvious favourites but i think it wouldn't be a great shock if any of them win at this point France and Italy also look like they could win it...only one i can't see winning is England.
Apparently a new Amy Winehouse 'Greatest Hits' collection is coming out, but the tinfoil and spoons aren't included.

Anyone can win it now mate, even England, but I highly doubt it.

Strange team selections in the Spain v France game. Spain start with no strikers again and France look to be very defensive.

Dreadful performance from England.

Where was the plan-b from Woy? It was obvious to me from early in the second half that we should have took wellbeck off and put an extra man in midfield, because we were clearly being overrun.

Still, can hardly say I'm surprised. The Italians showed us up for what we are. SHITE!
I hope, I do not wait.

Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

If life seems jolly rotten
There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps
Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing.

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

For life is quite absurd
And death's the final word
You must always face the curtain with a bow.
Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.

So always look on the bright side of death
Just before you draw your terminal breath

Life's a piece of shit
When you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true.
You'll see it's all a show
Keep 'em laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you.

And always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the right side of life...

Think it's quite likely that when the old guard hang up their boots our future starting 11's won't differ too much from this:

---------------------------------------- Joe Hart -------------------------------------------

---------- Walker/Richards ------------- Cahill ------------ Lescott ------------ Baines -----------

----- Adam Johnson -------- Wilshere ------ Rodwell ------- Chamberlain ------

--------------------------- Sturridge ------------------Welbeck --------------------------

My Team To Start The 2014 Qualifers

use Phil Jones to bring the ball out of defense / he could also push up along side Rodwell to bolster the midfield As Walker And Bains Drop Back To Revert To Four At The Back
                                                                   3:5:2

                                                                    Hart
                                                          Cahill  Jones Lescott

                                                  Walker       Rodwell         Baines
                                                           Gerrard     Wilshere
                                                                   Rooney
                                                                   Carroll

That Shape Should Allow Us To Keep The Ball.Rooney Can Drop Back To Flood The Midfield If We Are Struggling

Tom Cleverley ( when fit )
Daniel Sturridge
Adam Johnson
Theo Walcott
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Danny Welbeck
Micah Richards
Chris Smalling
Should All Be In The Squad

There's gonna be no cures for the ills of the English game before 2014.

To dispense completely of the old guard now would prove disastrous -we have world cup qualifiers approaching now. and besides, one or two of the experienced players may yet prove invaluable as experienced heads - squad players over the next few years.

In regards to the Euro's, there should have been places for Lennon and Adam Johnson.

First World Cup qualifier? I'd go with a 23 squad of...

Hart
Foster
Ruddy
*********************

Johnson-G-
Walker
Terry
Cahill
Lescott
Baines
Cole
******************************

Lennon
Gerrard
Lampard
Jones
Wilshere
Johnson-A-
Britton
Barkley (Ross) *snigger*
Rodwell(If recovered from injury)

******************************

Rooney
Crouch
Defoe
Young

**************************

I'd go with a staring eleven (in the first qualifier) of

                                     Hart

Johnson         Terry                        Lescott              Baines

Lennon         Wilshere                     Rodwell             Johnson

                                   Gerrard

                                   Rooney

That's if THAT 23-man squad is available for the first qualifier.

I hope, I do not wait.

Who is gonna win it then?

My money is on the krauts or one of the Iberian teams. I'll be boring and say Spain.

The other two got to the semi's
