Yeah no question i think just about every country in Europe has at least one quality goalkeeper though...except Spain who have 3.

No player from Scotland or Nothern Ireland, I thought Brunt would have been selected has the token Northern Irishman and surely they could have found a Scotsman, but its only an 18 man squad.

True football fan, eh? You must love the game, if you will only watch the team you support and then not watch ANY football in a competition they are competing in, because you know they are doomed to failure.

Even if England fail to qualify for WC 2014, I will still watch as many games as possible, because I'm a football fan, not a glory hunting Man utd supporter.

Bellamy is not a bad choice, given what is available.

I don't know about Crouch, he has dropped off the England radar of late.

You can see the team he still trying to building, a good few Swansea players included. Interesting to see how they do.

Crouch is a good player. He's an intelligent footballer who is clever with the ball, and actually has a half-decent technique. The same cannot be said about many English players - Never mind UK/GB players.

Here's an even more controversial shout.....Mikel Arteta! He's actually eligible for the England team (I'd have him there in a heartbeat, if he was up for it.

Let's face it, he's unlikely to play in a major competition for Spain, but he holds a glimmer of hope within himself, and appearing in the Olympics for the UK would not render him ineligible for Spain.

I only think England fans with sever mental disabilities think they stand any chance of winning the world cup, but to not watch the competition because of it? Christ I support the Republic of Ireland and I watch as many games in the World Cup/ Euros as I possibly can purely because I love football.

Well his aim is to win the competition, and to do that he'll need to pick the best players available to him, there's no point in throwing in Northern Irish or Scottish players when they have no significant players compared with those of England and a few of the Welsh also.
